This traditional Slant Front Desk is handmade of solid cherry with  both Queen Anne and Chippendale influences and details. Exterior details are based on some Newport, RI examples made by John Goddard and John Townsend.  Details for this desk include: Ogee feet, hand shaped base molding,  fully hand cut dovetail construction with 8 fully dovetailed drawers and 4 secret compartments. The lid is made from a solid piece of cherry with breadboard ends.  This desk interior was made for a client with spaces for a laptop computer, i pad etc. while maintaining a traditional look. Finishing this desk off is some antique brass hardware and beautiful hand rubbed finish.
