This Fine Sideboard is handmade of solid mahogany with Hepplewhite and Sheraton influences. This six leg sideboard has four doors made of tiger maple with mahogany cross-banding and ebony and holly string inlay finished off with an applied bead. This Sideboard is designed to accent a Portsmouth, NH style Federal Chest the client owns,  and will be used as a center piece in a family/entertainment room under a TV.   Fine proportions are equal to that of a fine Maryland Sideboard made in the late 18th century along with other  New England examples in the early 19th century.  Traditional mortise and tenon and dovetail joinery is used throughout this piece. The top is a beautiful, solid 20” wide piece of mahogany . The back is finished as well so this piece can also be used in a variety of different locations.   ht: 33”  wd:  50”  dp:  19”
