This SIx Drawer Tall Chest is reproduced from an original piece that was in a family for multiple generations,  The original chest was inherited by another family member.  This reproduction chest is made of spectacular tiger maple with amazing figure.  We used a single log to make this chest and a pair of nightstands. Using wood from the same log results in exceptional quality and figure consistency throughout all three pieces.   This Chest is handmade as the original with hand cut dovetail joinery throughout, including the case and drawers. The drawers are constructed of solid quarter-sawn poplar with wide one piece figured poplar drawer bottoms.
