This Piecrust Tea Table is made of solid mahogany with a beautiful solid Crotch Mahogany Top with a handcarved piecrust edge. This table has a hand carved ball and claw feet with a knee carving. Inspiration for this table came from an original example made in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and another similar example believed to originate in Virginia. Original examples can be seen at

Colonial Williamsburg, Metropolitan Museum, and Winterthur Museum
