This custom pedestal table is made of solid premium grade walnut. The top is made from an amazing set of book-matched walnut boards 24” wide each.  The legs are hand shaped to a pleasing curve that is reminiscent of the federal style pedestal  dining tables of the 19th century. This table style fits well is a variety of settings.   The hand fit mortise and tenon joinery  is unmatched  in overall strength. Solid walnut pins add both strength and decoration.  This table is 44” round and can be made in a variety of custom sizes, up to 60” diameter with or without leaves,  This table would look equally impressive in solid Mahogany, Cherry and Tiger Maple.  Take a look at the custom side chairs we made as a set with this table.
